The first level consists of living room, kitchen, bathroom, double bedroom and large terrace. On the second level you'll find a twin bedroom, en suite bathroom and terrace. There is also a private sun terrace on the upper level.
Due to the apartments elevated position there are stunning views of the coast line towards Malaga and all the way to Gibraltar as well as the Sierra de Mijas mountain range. From the sun terrace one has an uninterrupted, breath-taking 360 degree view of sea and mountains.

The apartment
is well equipped with air-conditioning and heating for year round comfort. It has everything required including bed linen and towels. Wireless Internet is
available as well as all the usual appliances, washing machine, dishwasher etc. Overlooking Miraflores golf course, means golf
enthusiasts have facilities within easy walking distance. The climate means
that your favourite activities can be enjoyed all year round!
Just a few minutes’ walk from the apartment complex are several excellent restaurants - Spanish,
Italian, Indian/Mexican, English & Grill, several bars plus a supermarket,
cash point, newsagents, hairdresser and more.
From the apartment a 10 minute walk downhill takes you to the beach
and coastal highway. The beach stretches east and west as far as the eye can
see. A newly built wooden decking hugs the shore to La Cala de Mijas and Puerto de Cabopino,
inspirational for both joggers and walkers alike.

Albatros is a small, gated complex, with well-tended gardens and
attractive pool area. Access to the apartment is by steps. Parking is in a communal area at the side of the complex entrance

On a clear day one can see the rock of Gibraltar and even the North coast of Africa.

The sun terrace where there's a 360 degree view as well as absolute privacy. Don't forget the suntan lotion as up here there's sunshine from dawn until dusk!

"Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances à Mijas et nous recommandons bien sûr l’appartement. Nous y sommes restés 15 jours et avons pu découvrir Marbella, tout proche, Malaga, Mijas, Ronda, Séville, Grenade et l’Alhambra. Nous avons eu la piscine pour nous seuls la plupart du temps! Les amoureux de grosses cylindrées trouveront leur bonheur à Marbella, où Lamborghini, MacLaren ou autre Rolls Royce rivalisent dans les rues le long de la Marina. Les amoureux d’histoire et de musées se régaleront dans les vieux centres urbains, ou encore au musée Picasso à Malaga. Si vous aimez le shopping, alors vous serez pleinement satisfaits dans les centres commerciaux entre Marbella et Malaga.

How to get there
The apartment is located close to
Miraflores Golf approximately 37km from Malaga airport towards Marbella.
From Malaga airport there are three options:

Taxi – approx. 50€ and takes around
35 minutes
Train to Fuengirola (40 minutes) and
bus M-220 or M-320 to Riviera del Sol (25 minutes)
Hire car – There are a number of
rental companies at the airport with good deals for a week’s rent. A car is not
essential but it gives you the possibility to visit the surrounding areas
including Gibraltar, Granada, hiking/skiing in the Sierra Nevada mountains and
much more.
Things to do
Restaurants & Bars
Just about all restaurants and bars in
the area are inexpensive. One can find many more within walking distance.
Taking the beach path to La Cala de Mijas and also in the opposite direction to
Calahonda. One very nice Italian restaurant is Davinci’s in Calahonda, well
worth trying.
Sightseeing
- If you enjoy walking, jogging or cycling the coastal path will take you all the way from Albatros to Malaga or Albatros to Marbella.

Albatros to Marbella 18km. The coastal path comprises mostly of beach and a few kilometers of wooden decking.
Walking into Marbella
- Here is a great site covering the whole of Andalucia. Loads of information on where to go and what to see.
- Sierre Nevada mountains
- Skiing is possible up in the Sierra Nevada mountains, just over two hours drive from the apartment. We tried it last year in March, it's very impressive. Ski gear can be hired at the ski resort.
